No, it's Not SPAM!     Simply go to www.prairie.edu/ListServ and Unsubscribe yourself.

In an effort to communicate to everyone in the Prairie community (and avoid sending messages to folks not wanting them), we have set-up these five email distribution lists:  i-Prayer & Praise,   i-Announcements,   i-Events,   i-Advertisements (local Prairie only, no SPAM from the other side of the world), and   i-Ride.

This year students have been subscribed to each of these lists and have the option to "op-out" of any or all of the lists. To see more information about each list or to change you subscription status simply drop by www.prairie.edu/ListServ (Please Note: You are subscribed using your XXXX99@prairie.edu address)

One note, if you want to subscribe an outside address (HotMail, Gmail, Telus, etc) please unsubscribe your prairie.edu address first (remember its your XXXX99@prairie.edu address).

Internet Access - new for the 2008/09 School Year!

When you connect to the internet (like when you start up your browser)
you should see a box like this:

This is the same username/password you use to access your email and,
just like when accessing your Email, you need to prefix your username
with "100acre\ " " " (Example:   100acre\username).

If this box doesn’t come up, then we will need your networking
hardware information (wireless MAC address).

  • If you know how to get this, then just send it to
HelpDesk@prairie.edu, along with your full name and student ID.
  • If you don’t know how to get this, and you have a laptop, then
drop down to the PITS in the basement of the College Faculty Building.

If you have a desktop, come and see us, and we’ll make arrangements to get the information.
